Channel 5 commissions Treehouse for Milkshake!

In a deal brokered by distributor Serious Kids, UK broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned London-based RD Studios to produce a live-action/animated/puppet preschool show called Treehouse (30 x seven minutes) that will premiere in its Milkshake! preschool block sometime next year.
Serious Kids moves into Sky Kids’ Happy Town

London-based children’s content distributor Serious Kids has secured the global sales rights, excluding the UK, to preschool animated series Happy Town (50×7’), produced by Happy Town Productions for Sky Kids in the UK.
Set to air in 2025, the series was created by ex-Cartoon Network exec James Fox (Skatoony) and stars Mel B of Spice Girls fame in her first kids’ show, alongside newcomer Zahra Bew. Animation services are provided by Salford-based Flix Animation.
Serious Kids to take Style It Out worldwide

The kid-friendly series about aspiring young designers working with sustainable clothing launched on CBBC in January.
British distributor Serious Kids has entered an agreement with London’s Lion Television to expand the latter’s fashion-centric series Style It Out (11 x 30') around the world.
In addition to distributing the series globally, Serious Kids has also secured the rights to sell the show’s format to international producers for localized spinoffs.
